Manufacturing Setup

Advanced Manufacturing Statistics setup is grouped under a specific tab in the Manufacturing Setup page.

The following settings have been added:

• Rounding Precision (Statistics): Specifies the size of the interval to be used when rounding amounts in Production Order Statistics. This field is automatically filled when installing the app, with a default value of 0.001. This value can’t be changed, it superseedes the standard rounding precisions for amounts defined in General Ledger Setup for Advanced Manufacturing Statistics reports specifically when costs are reflected in weight UoM.

• Weight Unit of Measure: Specifies the Item Net Weight Unit of Measure Code. This is typically the unit of measure that applies to all the net weight/gross weight fields present on the item card. This code will be used in weight-based statistics to provide a better understanding of the presented results.

Assisted Setup

When installing the app, you will be guided through an assisted setup wizard. Note that assisted setup will also help you in creating a default data/demoset for Cost Categories.

Permissions

To use this extension, all users need some extra permissions:

• (BRIAMS_BASIC) Adv. Mfg Statistics - Basic: Can view Production Order Statistics and configure Categories and Setup values.
• (BRIAMS_READ) Advanced Mfg Statistics - Read: Can only view Production Order Statistics and information of Cost Categories.
