Setup for Standard Sales Lines
Business Essentials Setup
Catchweight will work together with Standard Sales Lines module from Business Essentials extension. The same behaviour for standard items should also be expected for catchweight items.
- Business Essentials Setup has a “Default Standard Sales Line Qty.” field:

Customer Card
On Customer Card, field “Recurring Sales Line Mode” will also affect behaviour for Recurring Sales Line.

Sales Order + Standard Sales Lines

When creating a Sales Order for a customer set with “Dynamic (Question) " for Recurring Sales Line Mode:

If the selected Item does not belong to the Default Standard Sales Code lines, a message will pop-up, asking the user if he wants to add this specific item to the Standard Sales Code.

If the user answer Yes then the item is added to the Standard Sales Code and might be automatically inserted on next sales order creation for the same customer.

Depending on “Default Standard Sales Line Qty.” field, the quantity on the Standard Sales Code line for that customer it will contain the value on the field quantity 0, 1 or the Source Line Quantity.

In this specific case, as quantity was set as 0, quantity on Recurring Sales Line is set 0:
Catchweight Items
For Catchweight Items, when adding the item to the Standard Sales Line, the default quantity will be applied to the Handling Quantity when Default Standard Sales Line Quantity is set to 0 or 1.
In case the Default Standard Sales Line Quantity is set to “Source Line Qty”, the corresponding Handling Quantity and Quantity from the Sales Line will be copied to the Standard Sales Line.
Example: if “Default Standard Sales Line Qty” is set as “Source Line Qty.", on Sales Order, the question to add the item to the standard sales code only appears after the “Handling Quantity” field is filled. If click on “Yes”, then the Handling Quantity will be filled with the same value as Sales Line:
