Review G/L Entries
If on General Ledger Setup the field ‘Show Alphabetical Reviewed Code’ is enabled, the system will show Reviewed Code (letter) instead of Reviewed Identifier (number).
G/L Account needs to have Review Policy as Allow Review or Allow Review and Match Balance to have this functionality activated.
Each time the system give a number to Reviewed Identifier also give a letter to Reviewed Code having the following logic:
- If the lines on revision are balanced → Use uppercase letters
- If the lines on revision are unbalanced → Use lowercase letters (only possible if the account is with setting Review Policy = Allowed Review)
When the system reaches the end of the alphabet for the Reviewed Code, it continues by adding an extra letter—example it goes from “Z” to “AA”, “AB”, and so on.
