Key Usage Scenario’s
Item Transaction Check by Bricklead lets you define your own rules to block/allow item transactions depending on document type (sales, purchase, transfer) and item characteristics.
Unlike Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central standard “block item” functionality, you don’t have to post document to get an alert. Alert will be presented when validating item code input on sales line.
The blocking rules are free to defined and flexible it can be defined for a range of items (you can filter depending on any item card field) and a range of customers (in case of sales document), vendors (in case of Purchase Document) or locations (in case of transfer Document).

Block item transfer orders for some locations : Imagine you have have a location dedicated for some specific unit of measure (it can only handle Standard pallet). You can block transfer line creation based on Unit of Measure.
-
