Packaging Setup
On Search Page, search for Packaging Setup:
Open the Packaging Setup:
On General tab can fill following fields:
| Field | Description |

| Packaging Type Item Template | Specifies the item template to be used when creating packaging item from packaging type page. |
| Default Packaging Quantity to Receive | Specifies the default value for the Qty. to Receive field on Purchase Packaging lines. Options are Remainder or Blank. If you choose Blank, the packaging quantity to Receive is not automatically calculated. If Remainder is chosen, packaging quantity to receive is automatically calculated. |
| Default Packaging Quantity to Ship | Specifies the default value for the Qty. to Ship field on Sales Packaging lines. Options are Remainder or Blank. If you choose Blank, the packaging quantity to Ship is not automatically calculated. If Remainder is chosen, packaging quantity to ship is automatically calculated. |
On Number series tab, following fields can be filled:

| Packaging Transfer Order Nos. | Specifies the No. Series to be used for Packaging Transfer Orders. |
| Posted Packaging Transfer Order Nos. | Specifies the No. Series to be used for Posted Packaging Transfer Orders. |
On Packaging Setup is also possible to access to Packaging Codes. For that, click on action “Packaging Codes”:

Wizard Setup
It’s possible to setup the Packaging Management through a Wizard. For that, on Assisted Setup, search for “Set up Packaging Management”:
Assisted Setup page will open:
Pressing Next, define the default values for quantities on Purchase/Sales Packaging Lines, as well as if it’s intended to create Default Number Series for Packaging Setup:
On the Next page, define if it’s intended to create default Demo data of Packaging codes. If it’s intended, a group of 6 Packaging Codes will be created:
Pressing “Next”, the assisted setup is finished. Click on “Finish” to close the page:
Permissions
(BRIPCK SETUP)“Packaging Management Setup”, for all users.
