Integration with Manufacturing Planning Optimization

The Production Follow-Up extension is designed to integrate with the Production Optimization app, enabling users to monitor and manage production lines and planning characteristics directly from the dashboard. This integration provides enhanced visibility and filtering capabilities for production performance analysis and operational decision-making.

Setup

• Production Line and Planning Characteristics Fields: The Production Follow-Up page is extended with new, non-editable fields for each production order line:
  • Production Line: Inherited from the Production Order Line, this field specifies the production line associated with the order.
  • Planning Characteristic 1–10: These fields are inherited from the Production Order Line and display the planning characteristics linked to the item for planning purposes. The number of fields corresponds to the number of planning characteristics defined in the system.

Filters

• The Production Follow-Up Filters page includes new filters for:
  • Production Line: Allows users to filter dashboard lines by production line.
  • Planning Characteristic 1–10: Each field can be filtered by the corresponding planning characteristic value, enabling granular analysis and reporting.

Actions

• Show Production Line: A new action, Show Production Line, is available on the Production Follow-Up page. This action opens the respective Production Line Card, allowing users to view or edit details for the selected production line.

Business Rules

Field Inheritance: All Production Line and Planning Characteristic fields are inherited from the respective Production Order Line and are non-editable from the dashboard.

Filter Logic: Each Planning Characteristic filter is linked to the Planning Characteristics Values table, filtered by the respective code. Users can apply multiple filters simultaneously for advanced analysis.

Action Availability: The Show Production Line action is always available for each production order line and opens the Production Line Card with all standard actions enabled.
