Integration with Recipe Instructions

The Production Follow-Up extension is designed to work in conjunction with the Recipe Instructions app, providing users with direct access to recipe details for each production order line. This integration ensures that operators and managers can quickly reference the correct recipe and version, supporting accurate and consistent production execution.

Setup

• Recipe Fields on Production Follow-Up: The Production Follow-Up page is extended with two new, non-editable fields:

  • Recipe No: Inherited from the Production Order Line, this field specifies the recipe used for the production order.
  • Recipe Version Code: Also inherited from the Production Order Line, this field indicates the version of the recipe being used.

• Show Prod Order Recipe Action: A new action, Show Prod Order Recipe, is available on the Production Follow-Up dashboard. This action opens the Prod Order Recipe Card page, filtered by the Production Order No and Production Order Line No of the selected line.

Business Rules

• The Show Prod Order Recipe action is always available for each production order line on the dashboard.
• The Recipe No and Recipe Version Code fields are always inherited from the Production Order Line and cannot be edited from the Production Follow-Up page.
• The Recipe Card opens filtered by the selected Production Order No and Production Order Line No, ensuring users see only the relevant recipe.
• The page is always opened as non-editable to maintain data integrity and prevent unauthorized changes.
