Production Follow-Up Filters

Production Follow-Up Filters allow users to customize and focus the dashboard view on relevant production orders, dates, users, and component methods. Filters can be set up for individual users or company-wide, enabling tailored monitoring and analysis of production activities. This feature helps streamline daily operations, supports targeted troubleshooting, and enhances decision-making by presenting only the most pertinent data.

Setup

Users or administrators can create filter profiles for themselves or for the entire company.

Each profile includes general settings (name, type, user ID) and specific filter criteria (production order, date range, assigned user, component flushing method, etc.).

Filter Types

  • User: Filter profile is available only to the specified user.
  • Company Wide: Filter profile is available to all users in the organization.
  • Refresh Period (MIN): Specifies the automatic refresh period of Production Follow-Up dashboard.

Filter Criteria

Field Description
Production Order No Filter Specifies the number of the production order to be filtered.
Start Date Filter Specifies the starting date formula for the production follow-up with reference to the work date.
Timeframe Date Filter Specifies the length of the timeframe to be displayed on production follow-up.
Assigned User ID Specifies the ID of the user who is responsible for the document.
Flushing Method Filter Specifies which components to view in the Production Follow-Up Components page, according to their flushing method.

Business Rules

The Production Follow-Up Filters page has the following validations:

  • Only Production Follow-Up Admin users can see and update the full list of filter profiles.
  • Regular users can create and edit their own profiles but cannot modify other user’s profiles.
  • Timeframe Date Filter can only be filled if Start Date Filter is populated; otherwise, it remains non-editable.
  • Only one option can be selected for Flushing Method Filter. “Manual Methods” includes both Manual and Pick + Manual.
  • When creating a new User-type filter, the User ID field is automatically filled and non-editable.

Filter Application

  • If “Ask Production Follow-Up Filter” is enabled in Production Follow-Up Setup, users are prompted to select a filter profile each time they open the dashboard.
  • If disabled, the last-used filter profile is applied automatically for the current user.
  • If no filters are defined, all released production orders with routing are shown.
