Setup for Production
To configure the extension for manufacturing, it’s necessary to use the existing Quality Requirements & Specifications Setup page.
You can either user the Assisted Setup wizard (on the search page, search for Assisted Setup then Set up Quality Requirements and Specifications) or call the Quality Requirements & Specifications Setup page.
On General Section:

| Confirmation message when deviation | Specifies if confirmation message is displayed when a consumption/output is posted with deviation. If never is selected, then consumption/output will be posted without any confirmation message and deviations will be registered. If always is selected, then confirmation message will always appear. |
On Output Documents section:
These settings apply specifically to production output scenarios and are independent from quality control settings for purchase documents.

| QRS Control Method | Specifies the moment where the Quality Requirements and Specifications checks will be performed on output documents. Options are: - On Inserting Tracking (The QRS check will be performed when Inserting the Lot Tracking). - On Posting Document (The QRS check will be performed when Posting the item output). - On Inserting Tracking & Document Posting (The QRS check will be performed when Inserting the Lot Tracking and when the Posting the item output). |
| Allow Deviation Values on Production Orders | Specifies if it’s possible to post Production Output that contain deviation values. |
