Deleting a Trading File (Header and Lines)

If assigned Trading File Status allows deletion (see Trading File Status) it is possible to delete a Trading File under following conditions.

When you click on the action to delete a Trading File (Header and Lines), several checks are performed:

1. Check for Existing Sales/Purchase Released Documents:

A Trading File can’t be deleted if there are any related released Sales or Purchase documents.

2. Clearing Trading File No. and Dimension Values:

The Trading File No. and Dimension value for the Trading File Dimension on related Sales/Purchase documents will be cleared.

3. Blocking Usage of Related Trading File Dimension Value:

The usage of the related Trading File Dimension value will be blocked.
