Setup
Transport Setup
On the Transport Setup card you can set up how transport hours can be managed on Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and/or Transfer Orders. For each of the previous order types you have a setting to enable pick/delivery hours handling, following options are possible :
- No: Pick/Delivery hours are not visible on order.
- Visible Only: Pick/Delivery hours are visible but not editable on order.
- Editable: : Pick/Delivery hours are visibe and can be edited. Choose this behaviour if you want to be able to adjust on order level default hours provided by loading/deliveru address (see hereafter).
Set up Default Departure/Delivery hours on Pickup/Delivery addresses.
You can setup Pickup/Delivery hours on following entities.

Manage Hours in the transport flow
Sales Orders
On the Sales Order Header, the fields Latest Delivery Time and Earliest Delivery Time will inherit the value from the Customer or Ship-to Adress, depending on the Ship-to field, based on Promised Delivery Date. The Sales Order Lines fields will inherit the value from the header. Delivery times are not inherited when a Custom Address is used.
On the Sales Order Header, the fields Latest Departure Time and Earliest Departure Time will inherit the value from the Location or Company Information card, depending on the Location Code field, based on Shipment Date. The Sales Order Lines fields will inherit the value from the header, expect if the user manually changes the Line’s location code.
Purchase Orders
On the Purchase Order Header, the fields Latest Delivery Time and Earliest Delivery Time will inherit the value from the Customer or Location or Company Information Card, depending on the Ship-to field, based on Promised Receipt Date. The Purchase Order Lines fields will inherit the value from the header, expect if the user manually changes the Line’s location code. Delivery times are not inherited when a Custom Address is used.
On the Purchase Order Header, the fields Latest Departure Time and Earliest Departure Time will inherit the value from the Vendor or Order Address card, depending on the Alternate Vendor Address Code field, based on Pickup Date. The Purchase Order Lines fields will inherit the value from the header.
Transfer Orders
On the Transfer Order Header, the Latest Delivery Time and Earliest Delivery Time will inherit the value from the Transfer-To Location Card, based on Receipt Date.
On the Transfer Order Header, the Latest Departure Time and Earliest Departure Time will inherit the value from the Transfer-From Location Card, based on Receipt Date.
Transport Planning Worksheet
The Transport Planning Worksheet lines inherit Latest and Earliest Departure/Delivery Times from the source document lines.
Transport Orders
Transport Order lines inherit the Latest and Earliest Departure/Delivery Times from the source document or source Transport Planning Worksheet Lines.
Posted Transport Orders
When posting a Transport Order, the fields should be carried over to the posted transport order as non-editable fields.
