Item Charge

The Item Charge table is a standard feature in Dynamics 365 Business Central used to distribute additional costs across various types of items, including inventory, non-inventory, and service items. The Transport Management application also utilizes this table to assign Landed Costs to a Transport Order.

To enhance its functionality, we have extended the table with a new field that allows you to exclude specific Item Charges from the Fuel Surcharge Index Calculation. When this setting is enabled, the transport costs associated with these Item Charges will be excluded from the landed cost fuel surcharge reevaluation process.
