Shipping Agents

Shippping Agents table is the standard Dynamics 365 Business Central table to be used to define which company will handle transportation of a sales, purchase or transfert order. The Transport Management application also uses this table to assign a shipping agent company to a Transport Order. However as the Transport Management application also provides some transport billing and cost monitoring functionnalities it also requires that the Shippping Agent code is linked to a Vendor No.. Therefore we extended the table with that new field.

Only Shipping Agents having a Vendor No. being defined can suppport transport landed costs creation.
