Transport Tariffs
Transport Tariffs are independent tables from standard pricing lists. They are used exclusively for creating tariffs for Road Transportation mode. Transport Tariffs are associated with a Shipping Agent when setting up a Transport Plan.
Creating Transport Tariffs
You can create as many transport tariffs as needed using the Transport Tariff List page.

Transport Tariff Header
The following fields are available on the transport tariff page:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Code | Specifies the Tariff Code. |
Description | Specifies the Tariff Description. |
Status | Specifies the Status of the Tariff. Options are: Draft, Active, Inactive. Only Active tariffs can be used to calculate Landed Costs. Only Draft tariffs can be edited. |
Currency Code | Specifies the Currency Code associated with the Tariff. If the Currency Code is the same as the Local Currency, this field will be empty. |
Starting Date | Specifies the Starting Date of the Tariff. |
Ending Date | Specifies the Ending Date of the Tariff. |
Calculation Basis | Specifies the Calculation Basis of the Tariff. Options are: Quantity, Gross Weight, Volume, Ground Pallets, and Shipping Container. See the Calculation Basis section for details. |
Fuel Surcharge Index (%) | Specifies the Fuel Surcharge Index applicable to the Transport Tariff. This index will be used as the Source Fuel Surcharge Index for newly created Landed Costs with that Transport Tariff. |
Transport Tariff Lines
The following fields are available on the transport tariff lines:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Minimum Qty. | Specifies the value of the Minimum Quantity field. The Calculation Basis defines the Unit of Measure for the quantity. |
Unit Cost | Specifies the value of the Unit Cost field. Fixed Charges and Unit Cost fields cannot both be zero. |
Fixed Charge | Specifies the value of the Fixed Charge field. Fixed Charges and Unit Cost fields cannot both be zero. |
Only tariffs with Status Draft can be edited. Editing an existing tariff will not update already created transport landed costs lines using that tariff.

The Calculation Basis options are:

Quantity | The transport order line quantity (populated from the source document line) is used as the basis for calculation. |
