Vehicle Types
Vehicle Types are used for Transport Orders created using a Road mode-based Transport Order Type. They specify the kind of vehicle or trailer to be ordered (e.g., Reefer, box, tanker, etc.).
You can access the Vehicle Types page through Transport Management Setup or by searching for it in the search bar.
On this page, create a Code and a Description for the vehicle:

| Code | Defines the vehicle type code. |
| Description | Specifies the description of the vehicle type. |
- Vehicle Types can be renamed. When renamed, all related records are updated.
- Vehicle Types can also be deleted, even if they’re used in some documents. This won’t affect the existing documents.
Container Types
Organizing transportation using containers requires accurately specifying the type of container to be used (e.g., 40 feet, 20 feet, etc.).
You can define Container Types using the dedicated page from Transport Management Setup or by searching for it in the search bar.
