Business Essentials Setup

Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter Business Essentials SetUp.

You’ll then see that you now have the ability to setup the Business Essentials apps.

Standard Customer Sales Lines

Field Description
Default Standard Sales Line Qty Specifies the value of the Standard Sales Line Qty field.
Insert Standard Sales Lines on Quotes, Orders, Invoices, Credit Memos Sets the default value of Insert Recurring Lines on Quotes when creating dynamically Standard Customer Sales Code.

Clean Zero Quantity Lines on Release

Field Description
Purchase Documents If enabled, purchase Lines of type item will be deleted from purchase document when releasing document if quantity equal 0.
Sales Documents If enabled, Sales Lines of type item will be deleted from sales document when releasing document if quantity equal 0.

Over-Shipment

Field Description
Enable Over-Shipments When enabled, Over-Shipment Code and Over-Shipment Quantity fields will be visible on Item Card, Sales Order and related warehouse documents.

Shortage Management

Field Description
Default Policy in Drop Shipment Specifies the source document that defines the Shortage Management Method when it differs between customer and vendor setup. Options: Sales Order or Purchase Order.
