Integration with other apps
Advanced Lot Management
Inspection Status is integrated with Advanced Lot Management, since it is possible to view Lot Inspection Status as well as to update Inspection Status through Advanced Lot No. Information List.

Audit Trail
Inspection Status app has integration with Audit Trail app.
Audit Trail is set to have a complete log of changes being operated on a lot.
Audit Trail Setup
On Audit Trail setup is possible to define if Audit Trail is enabled and if Reason Code is mandatory or not.
Is also possible to define the Default Reason Code, to be used for the Audit Trail on Lot Information Card standard updates.

If Reason Code is set as mandatory, then, Default Reason Code is necessary to be filled:

Inspection Status Setup
If Audit Trail is installed, Inspection Status Setup has 2 new fields:

Field | Description |
---|---|
Default Next Inspection Status Reason Code | Specifies the default reason code to be used when running Update next Inspection Status report and audit trail set with Reason code mandatory. |
Default Update Inspection Status Reason Code | Specifies the default reason code to be used when running Update Inspection Status in batch report and audit trail set with Reason code mandatory. |
If no Reason Code is specified in the report, these Default Values will be used.
Audit Trail Log Entries
If Audit Trail is enabled, all the changes related to lot will be reflected on “Audit Trail Log Entries”.
When creating Lot, if the Default Inspection Status is set, the Lot Inspection Status will be filled.
If Reason Code is mandatory and default reason code is set, it will be filled:

When updating the Lot Inspection Status, if the Reason Code is set as mandatory , is necessary to fill the “Reason Code” field:
If Reason Code is not Mandatory:
When Updating the Lot Inspection Status, is possible to fill the Reason Code field, but is not mandatory:
Advanced Attributes Management
Inspection Status has a straight dependecy with Advanced Attributes Management. Is not possible to have an app without the other.
Setup Attributes
Advanced Attributes is used on Inspection Status Setup, where is possible to define the Item and Vendor Attributes to set Default Inspection Status and Customer Attributes to define Exceptions on Lot Inspection Status.

Lot Information Card
Advance Attributes Management also has impact on Inspection Status on the automatic creation of Lot Information Card.
When, on a Purchase Document, a lot is inserted on Item Tracking Lines, Lot Information Card is automatically created, whether the Item Tracking Code is set with “Create Lot No. Info on Posting” or not.
EXAMPLE
An Item has Item Tracking Code = “LOT”:

A Purchase Order is created for that Item:
When assigning the Lot No., the Item Card is automatically created, despite the setup on Item Tracking Code:

Quality Check
The Inspection Status app integrates with the Quality Check functionality. When a quality check is completed, the inspection status of the related item or lot is automatically updated based on the result. This integration is managed through a setup table called: Quality Check Results on Inspection Status.
Quality Check Results on Inspection Status
Field | Description |
---|---|
Quality Check Result | Values: Conform, Non-conform. Determines the result that triggers a status. |
Inspection Status Code | The code to assign when the result matches the defined condition. |
Type | Values: All, Item, Item Category Code. Defines the scope of the results. |
No. | Linked record based on Type. Disabled if Type = All. |
- If Type = Item, the setup applies specifically to that item and overrides generic setups.
- If Type = Item Category Code, the setup applies to all items within that category.
- If Type = All, the setup applies globally unless overridden by more specific rules.

Business Rules
When a Quality Check is closed, the system performs the following validation:
- If any line has Quality Check Result = Non-conform, the Inspection Status Code is updated with the code defined for Non-conform.
- If all lines have Quality Check Result = Conform, the Inspection Status Code is updated with the code defined for Conform.
- Specific item-level setup overrides generic rules for all items. These rules ensure that inspection statuses reflect the actual quality outcomes and reduce manual intervention.
