Next Inspection Status
The Next Inspection Status feature introduces automated transitions between inspection statuses based on predefined validity terms. This enhancement improves traceability and reduces manual updates, ensuring that inspection statuses remain current and compliant with quality control policies.
New fields have been added to the Default Inspection Status table to support automated transitions:

| Next Inspection Status | Defines the next status to apply after the current one expires. Must differ from the default status. |
| Inspection Status Term | Specifies the validity duration of the current status. Enabled only if Next Inspection Status is defined. |
Inspection Status Setup
New fields have been added to the Inspection Status Setip so that changes of the Next Inspection Status are defined with a Reason Code when Audit Trail is enabled:

Lot No. Information Card
Three new fields have been added:

| Inspection Status Date | Date when the current inspection status was assigned. |
| Inspection Status Term Date | Date when the current inspection status is due to expire. |
| Next Inspection Status | Defines the next status to apply after the term ends. |
- Inspection Status Term Date is automatically calculated:
- Inspection Status Date + Inspection Status Term
- Fields remain empty if no next inspection status is defined.

- Lot No. Information Card
- Lot No. Information List
- Advanced Lot No. Information List
Update Inspection Status to Next Inspection Status
A new report automates the transition to the next inspection status based on the term date.
This report can be:
- scheduled using Job Queue or
- opened by Search bar or Inspection Status menu
Report behavior
For each lot:

If Inspection Status Term Date ≤ System Date:
- Update Inspection Status to Next Inspection Status
- Log change in Audit Trail (if enabled)
- Use Default Reason Code (if required)
- Clear Next Inspection Status and Inspection Status Term

When updating the Lot No. Information Card manually or via report:
- Inspection Status is updated
- Inspection Status Date is refreshed
- Next Inspection Status and Term fields are cleared
