Installation

The application “Landed Cost” is available on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AppSource.

Please review the Extension Installation Procedure for further information.

Landed Costs Assisted Setup

The Assisted Setup will guide you through the installation process of the Landed Costs app. Use the Search icon and select Set up Landed Costs.

You can use Assisted Setup to create a demo/test data set for the application. This would create:

Landed Costs Setup

Search for Landed Costs Setup on Search bar and open the related page:

Field Description
Tariff Nos. Specifies the number series to be used for the Landed Costs Tariffs.
Recurring Cost Nos. Specifies the number series to be used for the Recurring Costs.
Confirm on Document Release If enabled, when releasing a document, a confirmation message appears to the user, asking if Landed Costs need to be added and calculated for this document. The user can click on Yes or No options. If disabled, the calculation of Landed Costs is automatically made without prior questioning.

Permissions

Following permission sets can be assign to users.

  • (BRILCO_ADMIN) - Landed Costs Admin - Can do everything with Landed Costs (including manipulating Tariffs);
  • (BRILCO_USER) - Landed Costs User - Can add Landed Costs manually or automatically when creating a document. Can’t create Landed Cost Tariff nor Recurring Costs.
