Integration with Advanced Lot Management
The Manufacturing Batch Size Extension can function alongside the Advanced Lot Management App without direct dependency. However, specific validations are necessary to ensure the integrity of batch production principles when both extensions are utilized concurrently. This integration is facilitated through the Integration Layer module from the Tools extension.
Advanced Lot No. Information List Enhancements
A new field, Batch Size Lot, is introduced on the Advanced Lot No. Information List page:

- The field inherits its value from the Batch Size Lot field in the Lot No Information Card.
- The field allows filtering to easily identify Batch Size Lots.
Creating a Sublot
When a user attempts to create a sublot for a line where Batch Size Lot = YES, a confirmation message is displayed before proceeding: “You are trying to update the Quantity/Lot No of a Batch Size Lot. Do you want to continue?”
- If Yes: The system allows sublot creation or merges to a new lot. The Batch Size Lot field in the Lot No Information Card is disabled for both the original and the new lots.
- If No: The operation is canceled, and no changes occur.
Adding to an Existing Lot
When a user attempts to add to an existing lot for a line where Batch Size Lot = YES, a confirmation message is displayed before proceeding: “You are trying to update the Quantity/Lot No of a Batch Size Lot. Do you want to continue?”
If Yes: The system allows the addition to the lot. The Batch Size Lot field in the Lot No Information Card is disabled for both the original and the new lots.
If No: The operation is canceled, and no changes occur.
