Print Solution Setup

Prerequisite

This extension requires a subscription plan and credentials. Please contact your Bricklead reseller to get those elements.

Install Apps

From Dynamics 365 Business Central search for Extension Marketplace and download the Print Solution apps from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AppSource. Then Log into the Print Solution Client.

Permissions

Following permission sets can be assign to users.

  • (ISAPTS-BASIC) - This permission set allows users to print document using Print Solution.
  • (ISAPTS-SETUP) - This permission set allows users to setup Print Solution.

Connection Setup

Using the Service Connections page search for Print Solution Setup,

Click on Print Solution Setup
There you can insert the API Key provided by Bricklead while purchasing this extension. You can then click on Check API Key to run the API Key validation. If successful, the toggle box will to switch to Enabled.

Get Printers

By default, all printers attached to the Print Solution client are retrieved. If you want to limit the number of printers retrieved, see Can I limit the number of printers retrieved from client PC.

In Business Central, in Service Connection/Print Solution/Setup use the Get Printers to donwload the list of printers connected via the print solution client.

Theses actions are mandatory prior adding printer in Business Central via Printer Management page, if you connect a new printer to the printer workstation/server supporting the Print Solution client. Then you will have to restart it as well as go through the function get printers to have a list of updated printers.
