Quality Control Management

Aim of the Quality Control Management app is to validate the conformance of a process or product (item) with the company defined standard. Quality Control Management organizes the specification and the recording of Quality Checks. Quality Checks are the documents supporting the registration of the quality measurements (aka Quality Methods).

A Quality Check can be issued per document header, document line (Warehouse Document line, Production Order line, Assembly Order Line, etc…) or created “Stand-Alone” (when issuing a quality control on inventory for example).

When issued from a Document Header, it will first refer to the document type and then populate the QC Specification lines to create QC Lines. (See Quality Check from Doc. Header)

When issued from a Document Line (when the item is set with item tracking code), it will first refer to the item no. of the document line to identify the QC specification to be used and then populate the QC Specification lines to create QC Lines. It is possible to register several Quality controls per document line (for example when having several lot numbers for an item line).
(See Quality Check from Doc. Lines)

When issued from scratch (from the Quality Check Page List) user will first have to select the item, then the lot number (or serial number in case serial number is applicable). It will then refer to the item code to populate the QC Specification lines and create QC Lines. (See Quality Check from Scratch)
