Installation

The “Advanced Attributes Management” app is available on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AppSource.

Please review the Extension Installation Procedure for further information.

Permissions

To use this extension, all users need some extra permissions:

  • (ISALCM_CONTROL) “License Control Management”, for all users.

The following permissions sets can be assigned for users working with attributes,

Permission Set Description
(BRIAAT_SETUP) Advanced Attributes - Setup Users using that permission set have CRUD rights on all the apps tables including the ones to setup the attributes (as well as defining categories) and categories.
(BRIAAT_Basic User): Advanced Attributes - Basic User Users using that permission set can
- assign existing attributes to master data;
- assign attribute values to existing attributes;
- assign existing attributes to Lot No.;
- adjust attribute values on purchase / warehouse document lines;
- assign attribute values to existing Lot No.
User need first to have its CRUD rights properly set on base entity (customer, vendor, item, lots no.) to be able to set up category and attribute values.
