Integration with Document Storage

To ensure that all evidence, certificates, and photos related to a quality issue are kept centrally, the Non-Conformance Management extension integrates directly with the Document Storage App.

This integration allows you to attach external files directly to a Non-Conformance record using simple drag-and-drop functionality.

The Non-Conformance Management extension has a direct dependency on the Document Storage App. When you install the Non-Conformance Management extension, the Document Storage application is automatically installed and configured for use.

Attaching Documents

You can manage attachments directly from the Non-Conformance Card.

  1. Open the Non-Conformance Card you wish to update.
  2. Locate the Non-Conformance FactBox on the right side of the page.
  1. Drag and drop your file (e.g., PDF, JPEG, Excel) into the designated area in the FactBox.
  2. The file is uploaded and linked specifically to this Non-Conformance record.

Delete Non-Conformance with attachments

To prevent the accidental loss of critical evidence, the system checks for attachments before allowing you to delete a Non-Conformance record.

If you attempt to delete a Non-Conformance that has files attached, the system displays the following warning message:

  • Select Yes to permanently delete both the Non-Conformance record and all associated files.
  • Select No to cancel the deletion.
