Integration with QRS for Manufacturing

The Production Scenarios app now includes optional integration with the QRS for Manufacturing app to support more controlled and traceable consumption of Reference Items in production environments.

Consumption Validations

When selecting Post Ref. Item Intermediate Consumption on a production order:

• The system checks whether QRS Document Lines are consistent across all Reference Item Component Lines. The Item Tracking Summary page opens for lot selection filtered.

• If differences are found:

  • Error message appears: “You have different QRS Document Lines related to the Reference Items in Production Order Lines."

• If all QRS Document Lines are the same:

  • The Item Tracking Summary page opens for lot selection.

  • On the Item Tracking Summary page, only lots that match the associated QRS Document Lines will be available for selection.

  • If no matching lot is found that meets the QRS criteria, the user may bypass the filter:

    • Use the Ignore QRS action available on the Item Tracking Summary page.

Posting and Deviation Tracking

When a Reference Item consumption is posted from a Production Order:

• If a QRS Document Line exists for that Production Order and Line:

  • A Posted QRS Document Line is created automatically.

• If any QRS requirement was not respected during posting:

  • A QRS Deviation Entry is logged for audit and review.

Family Production Journal Support

All QRS-related validations are also supported in the Family Production Journal for both:

• Consumption Entries

• Output Entries

This ensures consistency across journal-based and order-based production workflows.
