Production Scenarios
Production Scenarios are specific configurations or plans that outline how products are manufactured based on various factors, such as resource availability, demand, and process types.
To configure Production Scenarios, it is necessary to access the Production Scenarios page. There are 4 ways of doing it:
- Search for Production Scenarios on Search Bar;
- Open Item Card
- Select Item –> Related –> Bill of Materials –> Production –> Production Scenarios;
- Open Item List
- Select Item –> Related –> Assembly/Production –> Production –> Production Scenarios
- Open Stockkeeping Unit Card
- Navigate to Related –> Item –> Production Scenarios
- When opening Production Scenarios from Item List, Item Card or Item Stockkeeping Unit, Production Scenarios page will open filtered for Item No. = Item from where Prod. Scenarios are being opened.
- If Production Scenarios are opened from Search Bar, no filter is applied.

Production Scenarios Remarks
-
If a Production Scenario is marked as default, it will automatically be applied to lines containing that specific Item, Variant, and Location.
-
Only one default scenario can be selected for each unique combination of Item No., Variant Code, and Location. If more than one default scenario is selected for this combination, an error message will be displayed.
-
Selecting a default scenario is not mandatory. It is possible to choose whether or not to designate a scenario as default.
-
If the same Process Type and Location are selected for the same Item and Variant Code, an error message will appear, preventing duplicate selections.
