Integration with Packaging

The License Plating Extension does not have a direct dependency on the Packaging App, but users may need to migrate some data from the Packaging App to License Plating.

Assisted Setup with Packaging

When installing the License Plating Extension, users should be able to migrate Packaging Codes if the Packaging App is already installed.
This process can be managed through the Assisted Setup (Import Packaging Codes -> Click here to import -> Select the Packaging Codes to be imported):

• Users can select one or more codes from the Packaging Codes table to migrate into the License Plate Type table.
• Blocked Packaging Codes will not be visible for selection.
• Users will also have the option to select all codes at once.

Post-Installation Migration

If the user decides not to migrate the Packaging Codes during installation, a separate action called “Import Packaging Codes” will be available later on the License Plate Type page. This action allows:

• Selection of one or more codes from the Packaging Codes table.
• Option to select all codes.
• Blocked Packaging Codes will not appear.
• The action will only be available if the Packaging App is installed.
