License Plating is a key feature for food organizations to streamline warehouse management by grouping and tracking inventory under unique License Plate numbers. This ensures improved operational control, faster processing, and enhanced inventory accuracy in environments dealing with large volumes of items, such as food wholesale and manufacturing.

Key Usage Scenario’s

• Create, assign, and manage physical License Plates and their associated items/lots
• Physical Inventory Counting by Lot/License Plate (with Physical Inventory Orders).
• Improved way of moving License Plates between locations/bins and moving items between License Plates by the new feature “Move License Plate”.
• Ability to generate and manage SSCC numbers for License Plates for both shipping and internal purposes.
• Print customized labels depending on License Plate type, including GS1-compliant SSCC labels for shipping.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of basic setup and use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Use of Packages in the Item Tracking Code is mandatory.
