Transferred License Plate Nos.

The Transferred License Plate Nos table and page provide a way to track the relationship between original and new license plate numbers. The Transferred License Plate No action allows users to verify that all non-tracked license plates have been successfully moved to their new assigned numbers. This is crucial because receipt posting occurs before reclassification. Without this verification, a successful receipt could hide reclassification errors, making them hard for the user to detect.

• The page displays whether items initially assigned to non-tracked license plates have been posted to their new tracked license plates.
• If the items have not been transferred, the Transfer License Plates function can be run.

Access to Transferred License Plate Nos

The page can be accessed from:

• Posted Warehouse Receipt: (Related -> Receipt -> Transferred License Plate Nos).
• Posted Transfer Receipt: (Receipt -> Transferred License Plate Nos).

Transfer License Plate Action

For the system to identify which license plates have not been reclassified, it filters by Posted = False.
If there are lines with Posted = False, clicking Transfer License Plate will automatically trigger a reclassification to the new License Plate No.
If the reclassification fails, the Posted field will remain set to False.

Remarks

• When the Posted field is set to No, the New License Plate field is editable.

• This field has a table relation with the License Plate List, excluding any license plates that are blocked.

• When using the Transfer License Plate action:

  • If the location requires both Receipt and Put-away, the system will automatically create a new Warehouse Put-away.

• If any line has Posted = No, the user will not be able to create a new Warehouse Put-away using the standard action Create Put-away.

• If the user attempts to activate the Create Put-away action and on Transferred that is at least one line with Posted = No, the following message will be displayed:

  • “Cannot create Put-away since not all License Plate Nos have been transferred to new ones. Please select ‘Transfer License Plates’ action from the Transferred License Plate Nos Page.”
