Warehouse Journals
It is possible to have License Plate (LP) tracked items in locations configured with “Directed Put-away and Pick = Yes”, even if License Plate tracking is not required. To ensure consistency, new validations have been implemented across various warehouse journals to restrict License Plate usage in non-tracked locations.
Warehouse Item Journal
For locations that do not require License Plate tracking, users must only use the License Plate No. specified for “Non-tracked Locations” on the License Plating Setup. If the user enters a different value, the system will trigger the following error: “Only the License Plate No. %1 [LP No. For Untracked Locations No.] can be specified since the selected location does not require license plate tracking.”
Warehouse Reclassification Journal
Similar validations are applied in the Warehouse Reclassification Journal to prevent assigning License Plate numbers that cannot exist in non-tracked locations:
- License Plate No: If the user manually enters a value different from the “Non-tracked Locations” License Plate No., the same error message will be displayed.
- New License Plate No: The same validation applies to the “New License Plate No.” field, triggering the same error message if an incorrect value is entered.
Warehouse Physical Inventory Journal
In the Warehouse Physical Inventory Journal, the same validations are enforced: • License Plate No: If a value other than the “Non-tracked Locations” License Plate No. is entered, the system will display the corresponding error message.
