Integration with Inspection Status

The Manufacturing Backflush Extension operates independently of the Inspection Status App. However, specific validations exist for implementations usingboth extensions to ensure seamless functionality.

Validation Rules

• Lot Number Inspection Status:
  • If the Inspection Status extension is installed and a Lot Number has an assigned Inspection Status with the setting Production = No (Select or Post/Register), that lot number is skipped during the automatic assignment of item tracking lines.
  • This validation applies when utilizing the Suggest Item Tracking Lines feature on the following pages:
    • Production Order Components
    • Consumption Journal
    • Production Journal
• Backflushing Automatic Tracking:
  • For Backflushing Automatic Tracking on the Production Order Header (with Flushing Method = Backwards), the same validation prevents lots with an inspection status indicating they cannot be used in production processes from being automatically consumed when output is posted.
