Exclude Consumption of Process Items

Items designated as Process Item on the Production Order Component Lines are treated differently in the system.

Impact on Journals

• Consumption Journal: Process Items will not be automatically suggested for consumption and cannot be added manually to the journal lines.
• Production Journal: Similar to the Consumption Journal, Process Items are not included in the automatic suggestions and cannot be manually added.
• Inventory Pick: Process Items will also be excluded from being suggested or manually added.

This ensures that the consumption handling for Process Items aligns with the specific needs of production management and inventory control.

Exclude Process Items from Internal Distribution

Items marked as Process Item on the Production Order Component Lines are excluded from the standard internal distribution processes. This means:

• Inventory Movement: Process Items will not be automatically suggested for internal distribution and cannot be added manually to the movement lines.
• Warehouse Pick: Similar to Inventory Movement, Process Items are excluded from automatic suggestions and cannot be manually included.
• Pick Worksheet: Process Items will not appear in the automatic suggestions and cannot be added manually to the worksheet lines.

This exclusion ensures that the handling of Process Items aligns with specific production requirements and maintains inventory integrity.
