Production Order Register
The Production Order Register provides a snapshot of the initial quantities for output and consumption recorded when a production order is first set to Operational Status = Running. This feature ensures traceability of the original production plan and serves as a reference for any subsequent changes.
A new action, Prod Order Register, is available on the Released Production Order and Finished Production Order pages to access this historical record.
Business Rules
-
When the Operational Status of a production order is first set to Running, the system creates entries in the Production Order Register table as follows:
-
Output Quantities: For each Production Order Line, a register line is created with Type = Output.
-
Consumption Quantities: For each Production Order Component Line, a register line is created with Type = Consumption.
-
-
Behavior on Status Changes:
-
If the production order is set back to Pending and then changed to Running again, a new set of Production Order Register records is created.
-
The Production Order Register serves as a snapshot of the initial state of quantities. Any changes to the production order after it is set to Running will not affect the register.
