Quantitative Review
Quantitative Review Page
The Quantitative Review page is displayed when a production order status is being changed to Finished, and the Quantitative Review field in the Manufacturing Essentials Setup is set to Mandatory.
This page provides a summary of variances in output, consumption, and time for the production order, helping users review deviations from the planned quantities before finalizing the production process. The page includes two buttons: OK (to proceed) and Cancel (to stop the process).

The Quantitative Review page is divided into three sections:
- Output Information: Highlights variances for production order lines.
- Consumption Information: Tracks variances for production order components.
- Time Information: Displays variances for routing lines associated with the production order.
Output Information
Each production order line is represented with the following details:
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Item No | Specifies the item number for the selected output line. |
Description | Specifies the item description. |
Unit of Measure Code | Specifies the unit of measure for the output line. |
Flushing Method | Specifies the flushing method for the output line. |
Expected Quantity | Specifies the planned quantity for the output line. |
Actual Quantity | Specifies the actual output quantity. |
Variance (%) | Displays the percentage variance. |
Message | Indicates whether the output variance requires attention: Warning: Variance exceeds tolerance, and the Variance Policy is set to Warning. Block: Variance exceeds tolerance, and the Variance Policy is set to Blocked. No: Variance is within tolerance or Variance Policy is set to None. |
Consumption Information
Each production order component is represented with the following details:
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Item No | Specifies the item number for the selected component line. |
Description | Specifies the item description. |
Unit of Measure Code | Specifies the unit of measure for the component line. |
Flushing Method | Specifies the flushing method for the component line. |
Expected Quantity | Specifies the planned quantity for the component line. |
Adjusted Quantity | Specifies the theoretical consumption based on actual output. |
Actual Quantity | Specifies the actual consumption quantity. |
Variance (%) | Displays the percentage variance. |
Message | Indicates whether the consumption variance requires attention: Warning: Variance exceeds tolerance, and the Variance Policy is set to Warning. Block: Variance exceeds tolerance, and the Variance Policy is set to Blocked. No: Variance is within tolerance or Variance Policy is set to None. |
Time Information
Each production order routing line is represented with the following details:
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Type | Specifies if the line is for a machine center or work center. |
No | Specifies the machine or work center number. |
Description | Specifies the description of the machine or work center. |
Unit of Measure Code | Specifies the capacity unit of measure. |
Expected Quantity | Specifies the planned quantity for the routing line. |
Adjusted Quantity | Specifies the theoretical consumption based on actual output. |
Actual Quantity | Specifies the actual consumption quantity. |
Variance (%) | Displays the percentage variance. |
Business Rules
- Quantitative Review = Mandatory: The Quantitative Review page is shown to the user when changing a production order’s status to Finished.
- Blocked Messages: If any line has a message with Block, the OK button is disabled, and only the Close button is shown.
- Handling Multiple Production Orders: When finishing multiple production orders, the Quantitative Review page is shown for each order sequentially.
- Forward Flushing: Items are shown with no variance recorded as Initial Quantity = Finished Quantity.
- Backward Flushing: For items with an empty Routing Link Code, Expected Quantity is filled, Adjusted Quantity is calculated, and Actual Quantity is 0.
