Pages and UI Reference

This chapter provides a UI-focused reference for the key pages and FactBoxes delivered by the Production Follow‑Up (PFU) app.

Production Follow-Up Dashboard

Purpose: The Production Follow‑Up dashboard is the central page for monitoring and managing released production orders in real time, with a visual overview of each production order line and its components.

Availability & Access

  • Available for Released production orders with routing lines.
  • Can be opened directly, or through filtered views using Production Follow‑Up Filters.

Page layout & Main areas

List (Production Order Lines)

  • Each production order line shows key indicators and performance metrics used for operational follow‑up, including scheduled/actual dates, due date, progress status, produced/remaining quantities, and units produced per hour.

Component Tracking

  • From each production order line, users can open a dedicated Components view that displays consumption progress and detailed component information (item, location/bin, expected vs. actual consumption, and follow‑up %).

Key fields (commonly used on the dashboard)

  • Starting / Ending Date/Time – Scheduled or actual start/end time for the line.
  • Due Date – Target completion date.
  • Progress Status – Operational “on track vs delayed” indicator driven by actual vs expected time.
  • Output & Consumption Follow‑Up – Color-coded progress bars for quick assessment.
  • Quantity / Finished Quantity / Remaining Quantity – Production quantities summary.
  • Units Produced per Hour – KPI calculated from finished quantity and total production time.
  • Assigned User / Location / Bin – Responsibility and logistics context.

Key actions (dashboard)

  • Refresh – Updates the dashboard with the latest data.
  • Change Status – Lets users set the production order status (Released → Finished).
  • Split Production Order – Splits a production order line into separate orders for flexible scheduling (with limitations such as not being available for Family Orders).
  • Previous / Next Period – Navigate through time periods to review past/upcoming production data.
  • Change Machine Status – Update machine/work center status (Setup/Running/Paused/Finished) when enabled.
  • Machine Progress Status – Opens the detailed status history and transitions per operation.
  • Journals (Consumption / Output / Production) – Opens relevant journals to review/post entries.
  • Comments / Statistics / Routing / Components – Quick access to context pages related to the line.
  • Entries (Item / Capacity / Warehouse / Value / Time) – Access detailed posted entries supporting audit and traceability.
  • Printing reports and labels – Generates reports/labels for production orders and components.

Production Follow-Up Filter FactBox

Purpose: Helps users focus the dashboard on relevant production orders/dates/users and criteria, and manage active filter profiles.

Behavior Highlights

  • Displays the active filter profile and criteria and lets users edit/switch filters from the dashboard.
  • Filters can be edited directly and the dashboard updates automatically after changes.
  • Admin visibility differs: admins can see/update all filter profiles; regular users can create/edit their own or company-wide profiles (as described in the dashboard rules).

Machine Status FactBox

Purpose: Provides a quick, read‑only view of the current machine/work center status per operation for the selected production order line.

Fields shown (read‑only)

  • Operation No., Type (Work/Machine Center), No., Machine Status, Stop Code.
  • Values are inherited from the Prod. Order Routing Line; no manual override is allowed.

Units Produced per Shift FactBox

Purpose: Shows shift-based output per work center/machine for a production order line, supporting performance analysis.

Behavior Highlights

  • Calculated and grouped from Capacity Ledger Entries, filtered by Production Order No. and Line No.
  • Displays only records where Units Produced > 0 and Shift Code is not empty.
  • Read‑only; updates automatically as new postings occur

Machine Status Progress

Purpose: Machine Status Progress provides a detailed, real-time history of status transitions per routing operation (Setup/Running/Paused/Finished), capturing timestamps, stop reasons, and audit notes.

Availability & Access

  • Available for Released production orders when Allow Machine Status is enabled in PFU Setup.

Can be accessed from:

  • Prod. Order Routing Line (released only)
  • Production Follow‑Up dashboard
  • Production Order Line (released only)
  • Search bar
