Troubleshooting & FAQs
Common Issues and Solutions
Production order lines not visible on the Production Follow-Up dashboard
- Ensure the Production Order is in Released Status.
- Confirm that the production order has routing lines.
- Verify that Production Follow‑Up filters are not excluding the order or routing lines.
- If Ask Production Follow‑Up Filter is enabled in setup, make sure a valid filter profile is selected.
Cannot change Machine Status
- Check that Allow Machine Status is enabled in Production Follow‑Up Setup.
- Verify that the routing line is linked to an internal work center (subcontracting operations do not allow machine status control).
- Ensure the user has the required PFU permissions.
- If the routing line already has posted entries, status changes may be restricted.
Error when posting output: “Machine Status must be Running”
- This occurs when Allow Machine Status Control on Output is enabled.
- Set the machine status to Running before posting output.
- If the operation is subcontracted, verify that the work center has Subcontractor No. filled in; machine status validation is skipped for subcontracting operations.
Time Journal Lines not created
- Confirm that Allow Machine Status is enabled.
- Verify that the work center is not subcontracted.
- Ensure that time entries are expected for the selected routing operation.
- Check that Time Entries Journal Template and Batch are defined in the setup.
- If enabled, confirm whether Time Entries are posted automatically through machine status progress.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
