Pages and UI Reference
This section provides an overview of the primary pages used in Inspection Status and explains their purpose within the application.
Key Pages and Their Purpose
| Page | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Inspection Status Setup | The central configuration page for the application. Use this page to define setup values used throughout the solution, including attribute mappings, payment hold settings, and integration-related configuration. It also contains settings used by Audit Trail and automated status management processes. |
| Lot Inspection Status | Used to create and maintain inspection status codes. Each status can define whether lots are available for selection and posting in specific business processes such as sales, production, assembly, transfer, and inventory movements. It also supports customer-specific exception rules and vendor payment hold functionality. |
| Default Inspection Status | Used to configure automatic inspection status assignment when new lots are created. Rules can be defined based on items, item attributes, item categories, vendors, customers, treeviews, and inbound transaction types. |
| Inspection Status Wizard | A guided setup wizard that helps organizations quickly configure Inspection Status. The wizard can create standard inspection statuses, default inspection status rules, and setup values required to start using the application. |
| Lot No. Information Card | Displays detailed information about a specific lot, including its current Inspection Status. Users can manually update the status, review status-related information, and monitor status transition details such as Inspection Status Date, Next Inspection Status, and Inspection Status Term Date. |
| Update Inspection Status | This page is opened when updating a lot’s inspection status. It allows users to select a new inspection status and, when required, provide a reason code and comments that can be recorded through Audit Trail integration. |
| Update Next Inspection Status | A report that automatically updates lots whose Inspection Status Term Date has been reached. The report can be executed manually or scheduled through the Job Queue to support automated quality workflows. |
