Permissions
To use this extension, all users need some extra permissions:
(BRIALM_BASIC)for users that can only create and assign lots and print lot reports;(BRIALM_ADMIN)for users that will manage Lots, create Lot Template and use Lot handling functions. Those users cannot change the Advanced Lot Setup page. Those users can define the Lot Report Selection;(BRIALM_SETUP)for users that need to setup the app;
Data Retention and Privacy
Advanced Lot Management stores lot-related information as part of the standard Business Central database.
Data retention, backup policies, and privacy controls are managed according to the organization’s Business Central configuration and internal governance policies.
Bricklead recommends:
- Reviewing access permissions regularly.
- Following company data retention policies.
- Restricting modification rights to authorized users.
- Maintaining audit records for traceability and compliance purposes.

Auditability and Traceability
One of the key objectives of Advanced Lot Management is to strengthen traceability and accountability.
